Cleanaway Shares Jump 21% After $6.5 Billion EQT Takeover Deal

Shares of Australia’s Cleanaway Waste Management Ltd. saw their biggest jump in 15 years after a unit of EQT AB agreed to buy the firm for about A$9.3 billion ($6.5 billion) including debt, making it the latest local company to enter private hands after a period of share underperformance.
